Welcome ~ I’m Janet, founder of GRECH & CO., host of The Biz Diaries podcast, and a woman who believes deeply that you can begin exactly where you are - with minimal knowledge, little means, and a whole lot of heart.

Born and raised in San Diego, California, I now live in the Copenhagen region of Denmark, raising four children as a full-time single mama. My journey into entrepreneurship began in a tiny apartment, while working full-time at an international school and caring for two babies. Late nights blurred into school drop-offs, and lunch breaks became moments for side-hustle dreaming. I had no business or marketing experience, no design degree, no roadmap, very little money, and never the “perfect timing.” What I did have was creativity, resilience, and a determination to create something meaningful.

From that mix of chaos and beauty, GRECH & CO. was born. Inspired by the needs of the modern family, I design with both parent and child in mind ~ pieces that merge function, sustainability, and style. To me, fashion is more than expression; it’s about connection, economy, and environment. A water bottle shared between mother and son. Sunglasses passed down between siblings. Small choices with lasting impact.

My Master’s in Education and my lived experience of motherhood continue to shape everything I create. As my children grow, so too does the brand. GRECH & CO. is as much about familyhood as it is about fashion.

But my work extends beyond design. The Biz Diaries podcast, my writing, and the upcoming Creative Life Society are born from the same heartbeat: to share stories, tools, and resources that empower others to begin.
